Last night, I had the pleasure of attending the Adventures by Disney Spring Showcase at the Sheraton Hotel in Mahwah, NJ.
We were seated at 6pm, with a salad waiting for us…
Followed by a pasta appetizer and a main course…
Then it was on to some business. We were introduced to our host for the evening, Adventures by Disney Guide Natalia, who started with a few suggestions.
Did you know Adventures by Disney now has 38 vacations in 30 different countries on 6 different continents? Natalia suggested the best “starter” Adventure by Disney vacations might be the England/France vacation or the one to Italy, which I was fortunate to take last summer.
There newest vacations for 2017 had the room abuzz…
During this vacation, you visit 6 destinations in 4 countries during 7–nights. Natalia introduced the group to Columba, from Ama Waterways, who gave us a few more specifics about the exclusive Ama ships that are being used for Adventures by Disney. Their new ship, AmaKristina, will have room for 160 guests in 79 staterooms. These rooms will include 6 sets of connecting staterooms with 12 triple staterooms with the remaining being doubles. This ship will have a heated swimming pool, hair salon, massage room and Wi-Fi. Most meals will be eaten on board with wine and beer included in the dining room. There is also an exclusive kids menu for the Adventures by Disney cruises.
We then moved on to their land vacations, beginning with their new Walt Disney World Resort and Central Florida. This 6 night vacation, includes visiting the Kennedy Space Center and excursions that include kayaking, zip lining, and horseback riding. PLUS all of the VIP exclusive activities in Walt Disney World.
On to their new Montana vacation that includes “glamping” (glamorous camping) during this 6 night vacation. You will also spend a few nights at Big Sky’s 320 Guest Ranch, visit Yellowstone National Park, and activities like white water rafting, archery, and a trip to a hot springs.
Adventures by Disney is excited to bring back their Washington DC & Philadelphia trip that includes trips to Mount Vernon and Gettysburg across 6 nights.
Their Australia 10 night vacation continues to be hugely popular. They mixed things up a bit now- starting on Sydney visiting Ayers Rocks, Palm Cove, the Great Barrier Reef, and the Gold Coast.
Another popular Adventures by Disney vacation is their 11 night vacation to China- which again, has been changed up a bit. The vacation now starts in Hong Kong and ends in Shanghai– just in case you want to take a pre or post trip to a Disney theme park! You will also spend time at the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding—China’s premier institution devoted to the preservation of these adorable, but very rare, animals.
From here went explored the reasons Adventures by Disney might be a better option for a client vs doing it on their own, vs a lower end tour company, and vs a higher end company…
Adventures by Disney vacations are completely hassle free. There are 2 guides on every trip that take care of absolutely everything. 80% of your meals are included in the price as well as all tips, snacks, water, etc. There is never a language barrier while on a trip as one of those guides is always fluent in the language and the culture of where you are visiting. Adventures by Disney only uses 5 star accommodations that are within the hearts of the cities they are visiting.
Having taken 2 Adventures by Disney vacations now, and reserved for our third this summer, I can absolutely say with complete confidence- the difference is found within the Adventure Guides themselves…
They give you the peace of mind and confidence during your adventure that becomes simply priceless.
After Natalia’s presentation, we were served dessert…
I could not help but notice the hidden Mickey there in my dessert presentation!
