Pandora — The World of Avatar Inaugural Expedition, Windtraders and Satuli Canteen

Once you exit Flight of Passage, you exit through Windtraders- the souvenir shop on Pandora. There is a wide variety of items for sale, the most popular being the banshees that you are matched with before your purchase/adoption.IMG_7811 IMG_7812

As you exit the shop, you will find a bust of Neytiri, the blue-skinned Na’vi warrior in the film.IMG_0138

When looking at Neytiri, to your right you will find Pongu Pongu and then Satuli Canteen, where you will find quick service options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

We were given a lunch voucher for the event, and we were treated to a buffet of some of the lunch offering you will find in Pandora.

My view at lunch-

I need to preface this as to remind readers, this isn’t usually a buffet. I was given the ability to take what I wanted, how much, etc. I tried some of the Slow-Roasted Sliced Grilled Beef marinated in a blend of Garlic, Herbs, Red Pepper Spice, and Red Wine Vinegar and Wood-Grilled Chicken Thighs marinated with Garlic and Olive Oil over a brown rice medley. I actually really enjoyed both of these- a tad dry, but better than I expected. I also tried a Steamed Cheeseburger Pod stuffed with Ground Beef, Ketchup, Mustard, Pickle, and Cheddar Cheese. The Cheeseburger Bao Bun, was something I am glad I tried- but likely wouldn’t order on a return trip to Pandora. My absolute favorite was dessert! In my opinion, the Blueberry Cream Cheese Mousse (Blueberry Cream Cheese Mousse with Passion Fruit Curd) was OUTSTANDING!
