A Fairytale On The Fantasy; A Trip Report- Disembarkation Day

This is our most dreaded day on every vacation. Honestly, lets face it- it’s the same for everyone- we aren’t special- but we do try to take the sting out of it a little bit if we can.Breakfast today was back in Animator’s Palate with Heather and Adi- they were so great and I am glad we had the later seating so we would definitely be seeing them one last time (sometimes the early seating is just too early- so we head to cabana vs our assigned breakfast time). I also really love that Disney Cruise Line gives the option of both having your final breakfast in a buffet (Cabanas) or in a main dining room. We also tend to linger in the atrium taking a few final looks around. By now we had gotten the texts that our driver was there waiting- we just had to text back once we got through customs.

once we got to Orlando International Airport and through security there, we found out our plane was delayed by quite a few hours due to a maintenance issue. So- we headed to The Club MCO. Their Priority Pass will give you access to The Club MCO, it’s a perk with one of our credit cards but you can also buy an annual pass if it makes sense to do so. This was a life saver for us as the terminal was quite crowded and the lines for the restaurants were already quite long to get in or to order at the counter.

Another way to take the sting out of leaving your vacation?

Start planning another one, of course! Stay tuned…
