A Fairytale On The Fantasy; A Trip Report- Saint Thomas

On our fourth day, we arrived in Saint Thomas. We chose to reserve the Catamaran Sail and Beach Club excursion that departs at 11 am for four hours so we can snorkel and hopefully see a few sea turtles again. Today is also the new Mickey & Minnie’s Surprise Party at Sea. Our kids LOVE the Mickey Mouse short cartoons, so I am expecting this to be a HUGE hit with our family- assuming we are back onboard to see it.

The views from our balcony this morning were breathtaking…

After another late breakfast in Cabanas, we headed to D Lounge and off the ship on a quick walk to a 53-foot Gold Coast sailing catamaran. After we were briefed on the catamaran’s safety features- we sailed about 45 minutes around the southern side of St. Thomas passing historical Hassel Island onto Water Island. We spent 2 hours here lounging in the sun, swimming and snorkeling. We did see a sea turtle here as well- but not as many brightly colored fish as we saw in Tortola.

Back onboard, we headed to Mickey & Minnie’s Surprise Party at Sea for a few treats! It was cute, very quick and seemed to be a nice way to welcome everyone back on board.

After the party we got ready for dinner and headed to The Tube for So You Think You Know Your Family at 7:30pm- a very funny, family friendly game show we all enjoyed watching!

It’s worth noting- The Tube’s bar is open during ths hour for both non alcoholic and alcoholic beverages. Personally, I highly recoment the Johnston- Godiva Cholocate Liqueur, Frangelico, Baileys, Kahlua, and Honey.

Mikey was a huge fan of their Shirley Temples 😉

Dinner tonight was back inside Enchanted Garden. I started with Wild Forest Mushroom Soup with sour cream, white truffle oil, and chives:

Mikey and Mikey started with the Garlic and Parsley Sauteed Shrimp:The girls both had the Coronation of Mixed Leaves with tomatoes, blue cheese, apples, candied walnuts and red wine vinegar:

We then ordered The New York Strip Steak for dinner:

For dessert, we ordered a strawberry and cream tower:

Crème Brulee Cheesecake:

and Tiramisu:

After dinner, we headed to D Lounge to the Saludos Amigos Fiesta Dance Party!

It was another very long day but we had so much fun! Time for bed to rest up for another busy sea day tomorrow!
