Once we got back to The Grand we quickly changed into our bathing suits and headed to the pool. Such a great break in the day and we all felt so much better once we dipped our toes in!
We had a very relaxing lunch at the Beach Pool Bar & Grill before heading back to our room inside Boca Chica to get ready for the evening.
Tonight I was headed to a Welcome Reception for the Marketing Forum and the kids and Mike were headed into Magic Kingdom again for some fun and Fast Passes.
My evening looked like this…
Once the reception ended, I headed back to change and met up with my family for some fun too! I was able to meet them at Buzz Lightyear, where we also had Fast Passes (the kids know how to use the My Disney Experience App very well, and once their 3 were used for the day, they grabbed one for Buzz for the 5 of us).
My oldest daughter maxed out her score and was visibly thrilled, just as her picture was taken…
then we headed to Barnstormer, walked on to Peter Pan’s flight where we got to see the new standby line… which is adorable!
At this point Happily Ever After had started and we decided to skip it as we have the dessert party reserved for our upcoming November trip. We saw no wait at It’s A Small World, right across from Peter Pan, but a very friendly Cast Member advised us to stroll over to Haunted Mansion and jump on line there and then backtrack to Small World. So, we did… we didn’t find a line….
but we did get a unique view of Happily Ever After!
Then we backtracked back to It’s A Small World… without a wait.
Katie and I saw a bit of magic as we said goodbye…
By then we were passing by the castle to see the very end of “Once Upon A Time”, another castle projection show with some fireworks.
Once it was over, we headed to the boat launch, back to the Grand Floridian for the night. As we approached Boca Chica we came across “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” playing on the lawn right on front of our building!
