What a busy day and now to end it off with getting dressed up and heading to dinner inside one of our favorites <3
Before dinner, especially on formal night, there are multiple paces to have portraits taken. So, of course, we took advantage- here are some of our favorites:
Dinner was, as always inside Lumiere’s, amazing. Lumeire’s offers a fantastic menu and the setting is PERFECTION for formal night. Our servers, Ralex and Melissa, were some of the best we have ever had- so warm and friendly from the moment we met them. Their memories as far as what we liked food and drink wise to what are plans were during the cruise, then the riddles and puzzles, jokes that turned into inside jokes– so incredible. Even our head server, Cedomir, was incredibly friendly and funny, so personable and would even come up to us when we were in Cabanas (Ralex and Melissa would too) to say hi and ask about our day, etc. Our service team on this cruise certainly went above and beyond and it absolutely enhanced our amazing trip.
Mikey played it safe off the kids’ menu with corndogs, mixed vegtables, and french fries.
One of my favorite appetizers on board Disney Cruise Line is their Baked Brie… so good!
The Potato Leek Soup isn’t too bad either 😉
Ralex brought out some escargot for us to try- Mike and Katie were the only brave ones…
Katie has salmon for dinner-
While Mike, Jacqueline and I enjoyed our Chateaubriand!
Dessert here has to be their famous and super popular creme brulee…
After dinner, I had to run Mikey back up to our stateroom to change. Our son just grows so fast- and his pants were so tight, I asked him to sit patiently through pictures and dinner and then he could change (I am telling you, these pants fit before we left!).
On our way back down to see tonight’s show, we ran into Donald! Another neat thing on formal nights- it isn’t just the guests dressed up- but the characters are too!
Tonight’s show is a family favorite, Twice Charmed: An Original Twist on the Cinderella Story. We had great seats and loved every minute!
After the show, Mike and I headed to Keys for a quick drink while the kids went back to the rooms for a bit-
Then it was time for a quick change of our own to indulge in another family favorite- late night pizza and a movie on deck. We were’t sure what to expect because the World Cup was scheduled, but we figured we would take a chance…
It was Enchanted! It seems as though we always catch this movie (which we have always loved) at least once a cruise, on deck- late at night, getting pizza. This just was a magical way to end our night.
Once back inside our staterooms, our stateroom host, Bert, had some friends waiting for us!
We had to get to sleep quick- we had our first stop in port in the morning- Naples.
