A Magical Mediterranean Cruise, Day 7- Semi-Formal Night inside Animator’s Palate

Dinner at Animator’s Palate is one of our family favorites. Tonight is “Animation Night”, which is really one of the most anticipated of the cruise for our family.

That said, tonight was also Semi-Formal Night. We decided to dress up and have a few more family pictures taken before heading to dinner.

I will admit- this first backdrop was a bit odd, lol:

Then we had time to say hi to Pluto (can you see the Eiffel Tower hanging from his collar?): Before finally sitting down to dinner… and more pictures!

Once you sit down you are presented with a special paper and markers to help you become part of that night’s dinner entertainment.

Your dinner is them taken and pretty quickly served.

I started with tomato soup:

Katie had a shrimp pasta dish for dinner:

Mike had lamb chops with mint jelly:

Mikey, Jacqueline, and I had the chicken schnitzel:

For dessert, we all had cheesecake!

After dessert we settled in to watch the show on the screens nearby our tables:

After the show, Ralex, our server, presented our drawings back to us- but now with a special seal proclaiming us Official Disney Animators!

It was going to be another busy night tonight- we wanted to get a head sart on packing so we didn’t have to worry about it during our last seas day tomorrow- plus there were a few kids’ club open houses Mikey and I wanted to check out and then tonight was the premiere of AntMan & The Wasp. First we headed back to our room, as some of us wanted to change into something a tad more comfortable for the night.
