A Magical Mediterranean Cruise, Day 8- Dinner inside Rapunzel’s Royal Table

Inside Rapunzel’s Royal Table for dinner tonight, we were going to celebrate Rapunzel’s birthday. There were strolling minstrels and Rapunzel and Flynn Rider were expected to visit us during dinner as well.

We stared dinner with HUGE pretzels and an incredible whole grain mustard dipping sauce.

Tonight we were also given water chalices, to use during dinner, to help set the tone for the celebration!

For dinner, we started with the Potato Cream Soup with Carrots, Leeks, Celery, and Knockwurst:and the Ravioli “Tiroler” which is pasta filled with Puffed Beef and Portobello Mushrooms tossed in a Red Wine-Thyme Reduction served with Roasted Carrots and Pearl Onions:

Mikey played it safe tonight with peas, french fries, and cheese pizza.

Katie ordered the “Tangled Pasta”, which is Angel Hair Pasta tossed in Basil-Pesto with Caramelized Sea Scallops, Roasted Vine Tomatoes and a Sun-dried Tomato Tapenade served with Roasted Meyer Lemon:

While Mke, Jacqueline, and I enjoyed our Captain of the Guards Roasted Prime Rib of Beef that was served with a Double Baked Potato, Broccoli, Sweet Roasted Carrots, and a Red Wine-Veal Sauce:

For dessert, Katie had Rapunzel’s Fry Pan Sweet Bread which is basically a donut dusted with Powdered Sugar, Chocolate-Hazelnut Sauce, and Vanilla Bean Ice Cream served in Rapunzel’s Fry Pan:

Mike and Jacqueline had the Crème Brûlée Cheesecake which is a layer of Baked Cheesecake with Caramelized Crème Brûlée served with Fresh Whipped Cream:

Mikey really enjoyed his Birthday Cupcake Sundae with a Butter Cupcake with Strawberry Compote, Birthday Ice Cream, Dipped Cream, and topped with Celebration Confetti:

I tried the Warm Braided Apple Strudel served with Vanilla Sauce and I replaced vanilla ice cream for the typical Butter Pecan Ice Cream:

Dinner was delicious! After dinner we did some last minute shopping and then headed to the final show of the sailing, Disney Dreams. Once the show was over- we walked the decks a bit before it was time to head back to our staterooms one last time, removes our door magnets and see what adorable creatures Bert left for us to say goodnight. It was the most magical cruise we have ever taken and we were so sad to see our last night end.
