A Resort Hopping Holiday: Until We Meet Again

It was my last morning of the trip, I was beyond exhausted. I woke up in this huge room, alone, and headed down to breakfast at Primo Piatto. It’s really a very upscale counter service restaurant. You order at the counter, given a pager, and then your meal is delivered to you… on china with a cloth napkin and silverware. The kitchen is also in full view, which is really neat and adds to the upscale vibe.

I ordered the Primo Piatto Breakfast which is scrambled eggs served over mascarpone polenta with a sweet brioche roll served with Bacon and Italian Sausage (I doubled the bacon instead of having sausage) for $10.79 or 1 counter service credit on your Disney Dining Plan. After breakfast, I headed back up to my room for a bit and took a few more last looks at all of the more hidden details…

Before I knew it, it was time to head back to the airport … noticing more magical touches….

I was really disappointed I didn’t get to enjoy this resort more than we could. There was something about it that really captivated all 4 of us. I am thinking it really was the Italian Riviera atmosphere that really reminded us of our Mediterranean Cruise two summers prior that we all absolutely loved onboard Disney Cruise Line.

Our next trip is already planned- ticking another never stayed at resort off our list- Disney’s Boardwalk Inn. We are really excited- but I won’t lie, I have thought about changing it. We will be back…. and we will spend time enjoying this magnificent resort.
