A Review of Disney’s Beach Club Resort’s Deluxe Room, Club Level

My family and I were very fortunate to have the opportunity to stay in one of Disney’s Beach Club Resort’s Deluxe Rooms.

These rooms are in the resorts concierge/club level- so when we arrived at the resort we were met by concierge staff outside. We walked inside and took an elevator up to the lounge. The kids and I went inside and we were met with snacks (sugar and chocolate chip cookies, Swedish Fish, Yogurt covered Pretzels, trail mix and house made chips with a dip) and drinks. My husband sat at the desk to go over a few details and was also served a bottled beer as they met. The staff was excellent! Making sure the kids were comfortable and even quizzing them with Disney trivia.

Our deluxe room was located on the floor below the lounge and a short walk from the elevator. Once you walked into our room, you step into an entryway and turn right into an oversized space. As you walk into the room there is a bureau on your let and the bathroom and closet on your right. If you turn into the bathroom area it is fairly typical of deluxe resorts. Behind a door you find the tub with a shower as well as a toilet. There is an oversized mirror with double sinks and the closets are on your left as you look at the mirror.

Walking further into the room, you will have the doors to an oversized balcony on your left and 2 Queen sized beds on your right. You will also find a shelf on the wall, to be used as a night stand for the right bed and another, standard, night stand between the beds with a telephone. To the left of the left bed is also a desk with a coffee pot. Directly behind the desk you will find a daybed (with a beautiful double window above it), coffee table and hidden fridge.

Outside on the balcony, you will find 4 chairs and 2 side tables. This particular room was overlooking a quiet pool and facing Epcot. The room was also a less than 10 minute walk to the International Gateway entrance to Epcot. That evening we went back to the Beach Club around 8:30pm, went to the Concierge Lounge for some dessert and drinks to bring back to our room and we settled in and watched Illuminations on our balcony! It was a magical way to end our day.

We were very comfortable in our room. We are a family of 5 and 2 of my 3 kids are well over 5 feet tall. We never felt cramped and there was plenty of space and storage for everything we had without losing the cozy feel of the Beach Club Resort. We loved the soft, pastel, and nautical touches in the room as well. The room was spotless and the staff was incredible, we would not hesitate to stay at the Beach Club again and would love to stay in a deluxe room too!
