We RACED back to The Grand Floridian after exiting Test Track- speed walking into World Showcase, exiting out of the International Gateway. Once at The Beach Club, we ordered an Uber and off we went.
Time FLIES when you are having fun! We had a dinner reservation we were trying to make inside one of our new favorites, The Grand Floridian Cafe. We made it with a few minutes to spare- ordered quickly and the girls ran upstairs to freshen up before dinner arrived. The girls, Mike, and I ordered the Lobster ‘Thermidor’ Burger, a 7-oz Artisanal Burger Patty and Lobster-Parmesan Thermidor Sauce on a Seared Brioche Bun and served with Cafe’s Signature Seasoned French Fries. Mikey ordered his go to- chicken fingers and fries. We were so hungry- even the bread service was so well appreciated and devoured!
Mikey and I ate particularly fast and I could take Mikey up to our room (remember, we are now staying in the same building, so it doesn’t take long at all to get to our room) to shower and I could freshen up before Mike and the girls met us up in the room for Mike’s turn to freshen up before we head out to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.
Before we knew it, we were entering the park and were surrounded by Christmas!
We had begun waiting online to visit Santa, but as you can imagine it was a very slow moving and long line. We chose to meet Santa during our upcoming cruise and take a family picture on Main Street USA …
From there the girls were off to meet friends, leaving the boys and I to explore the party. After a quick stop in the Emporium on Main Street for some pins…
we bee-lined straight to the Jingle Cruise! There really is no better attraction to start the party than this one!
Then to Tortuga Tavern for a Snowman Soft Pretzel after riding The Pirates of the Caribbean.
Then we ran into the Moana meet and greet- whose wait was 90-120 minutes (Mikey was not interested in stopping, his sisters would have waited, lol!).
From there the boys and I split up so I can meet some of my Castle Dreams friends and they could have time Father/Son time riding some coasters without me 😉
We were meeting at Casey’s Corner, hoping to take a PhotoPass picture after the parade, but the photographers were no where in sight, so Arnie took our magical shot!
From there, Tricia, Aimee (another Castle Dreams Travel Planner) wandered around a by Cinderella Castle a bit…
Then we decided to start looking for snacks! We ran into some Country Bears…
before grabbing some Ginger Molasses cookies and EggNog inside the Liberty Square Ticket Office.
I then split from Tricia and Aimee to catch up with my boys to walk right on to the Tomorrowland Speedway. It was even more magical as Holiday Wishes started going off as we were driving the course! It was so incredibly beautiful to be surrounded by it all as these fireworks are set off all around you!
Then we rode Space Mountain and Buzzlightyear’s Space Ranger Spin.
As we were riding the PeopleMover, we saw the snowcones inside Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies- so we also made a stop there and even grabbed a Santa Claus cookie! As we snacked we watched A Totally Tomorrowland Christmas, which was really cute too.
Now it was getting late and time was catching up with Mike and Mikey, they headed back to The Grand as I settled in for the Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, one of my absolute FAVORITE parades!
By the end of the parade, I had heard from the girls they were riding a few last rides and would be heading “home” shortly. I was already by the exit to the park, so I headed to the boat launch and “home” myself. By now it was nearly midnight and my 15 hours of park touring was now complete!
