Our last day was so bittersweet- Castaway Cay during the day and now Animator’s Palate for dinner. We absolutely save the best for last!
But now, after a long and relaxing day on the beach in the sun, what do you order?
One of my tablemates started with a Blueberrilicous, specialty drink – which looked AMAZING!I decided to carbo-load and order two (yes, two) of my ABSOLUTE favorite, Black Truffle Pasta Purseittes. These are pasta purses filled with truffle scented cheese and coated in champagne sauce.
Honestly, I really was quite full after two servicing of my appetizer- but the baked potato and cheddar cheese soup was soooooo good!
To keep on my carb theme, I then attempted to finish the Pennete Bolognese, but I will admit to eating just half. It was delicious- but there is only so much room in your stomach.
Now, on to dessert! The kids were beyond excited when the wait staff came out singing and presented each of them with their sundaes. It was an absolutely magical 12th birthday celebration and Crush (from Finding Nemo) visited the kids chatting with them about their day as well.
I kept it light with the cheesecake 😉
After dinner, we headed to the shops on board and then Evolution for some adult’s only trivia and game night while the kids all took off for their age appropriate clubs.
Another successful Disney Cruise Line vacation day and night… off for one more night’s sleep….
I loved that blueberry drink at Animator’s palate! Definitely one of the best drinks of the cruise.
