A Very MerryTime Vacation, A Family Trip Report- Breakfast on our First Full Day inside The Royal Palm Club

We had to all be up pretty early after a late night last night. Most of us showered the night before, in anticipation. Once I stepped out on our balcony for some fresh air, I realized we woke up to the most glorious day! It certainly was a sign for the rest of our day, I was sure.

I headed to the Royal Palm Club Lounge for coffee for a few sleepyheads in my family and some pastries to help wake everyone up (luckily, Cast Members will give you a tray to help transport food to your room- all you have to do is ask). Then I went back for my own plate…

The breakfast offerings were almost identical to the offerings when we stayed here in February.

We finished up and were quickly on our way to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge to meet our VIP guide. We chose to meet there vs the Grand because Tricia’s family (of whom we were sharing the tour with) was staying there and we were starting our day inside Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park. If we were picked up first, it would eat away some of our time and we are paying by the hour. Getting picked up at a resort, we were able to bypass entry lines at the front gate and we wanted to quickly gain access to Pandora to start our day. I had requested the same guide I had a year prior and was hoping to see him again this morning…
