A Very MerryTime Vacation, A Family Trip Report- Royal Palace

Royal Palace on board the Disney Dream is one of my favorite places to eat. Elegant setting with an amazing menu. Tonight, as we approached the entrance, there was a violinist playing beautiful music- Disney selections, of course!

Tonight was going to be elegant with a Pirate theme…

It’s Pirate Night!

Though, Pirate Night or not- I have to start here wit their Baked Brie. I dream of this when I am at home…

My tablemates enjoyed the Escargots Gratins — Herb-marinated Snails with Finely Chopped Mushrooms, topped with garlic butter and Breadstick:

For our main course, we all overwhelmingly ordered the Royal Palace Aged Angus Grilled Beef Tenderloin and Lobster Medallions with Sautéed Snow peas and Marquis Potatoes with a Cognac Reduction:

Then it was time for dessert!

I tried the Apple Tart Tatin  which is a Caramelized Baked Apple served with Vanilla Ice Cream:

Most everyone else had the Tahitian Vanilla Creme Brûlée  with Almond Biscotti:

Our server entertained us throughout dinner with riddles and magic tricks- which was great. Time FLEW during this dinner. Mike and I decided to skip The Golden Mickeys tonight while the girls headed to the theater and Mikey  bee-lined to the Oceaneer Lab. Where will we end up before the Pirate festivities begin?
