A WONDERful Holiday Cruise, Hotel Galvez

Today, Mike and I are excited prepare to set sail on board the re-Imagined Disney Wonder with it’s incredible lineup of enhancements.  Here is a closer look at our stay that began with a pre-night stay in the haunted Hotel Galvez in Galveston, Texas…I will admit to doing a bit of research on the Hotel Galvez and was a bit startled when we were assigned a room on the haunted 5th floor

The room was beautiful, a bit tight, but plenty of room for the two of us. We decided to meet up with some friends and hunt down some lunch. The pool bar was closed, so we headed on a walk up to Galveston’s Paradise Pier…img_3537 img_3539 img_3540 img_3541 img_3542We decided on Bubba Gump’s- quick and familiar.

Then we took a quick walk back to our hotel and decided to hunt for some ghosts!img_3553 img_3554 At the front desk, you can ask for a ghost meter, and they will give you one if they have one available to borrow. I headed straight to our floor to check it out!

Needless to say, I was done. 😉 No activity in our room, thank goodness- but plenty in the hallway.

We decided to freshen up and head down for a drink and some dinner with friends. After my Ghost Hunting experience, I felt the need to order a “Ghost Bride”!

After drinks, we decided to sit for dinner. We weren’t hungry for too much, so we decided on appetizers. I had soup and some delicious calamari…

After dinner, we all decided to head to bed- the next few days were going to be filled with a lot of WONDERful activities, sights, and sounds!
