This morning, Mike and I chose to sleep in a bit, it was the only morning I really could. Once we were awake and ready for the day we decided on Cabanas for breakfast and then headed to Senses Spa for a couples massage.
I must admit, we try to reserve a couples massage on each cruise we take. It is a nice way to relax and recharge- the hardest part is when to make the appointment!
After our massage, we waddled out to the pool and lounged a bit before it was lunch time. We chose to grab lunch at Daisy’s de-Lites today. Lots of salads, wraps, soups, rice bowls, etc:
We really relaxed the sea day away. We were able to catch up with friends by the pool which is always nice. Mid-afternoon we headed back to our room to shower and get ready for the evening. Mike was heading to Mixology and I was meeting Carol-Beth by the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique for some pixie dust! What a fun way to enter!
This new addition is much smaller than the boutiques you will find on the other Disney ships, and it was quite crowded when we were there- so I headed back after hours to take a quick picture 😉
After some magic, we headed to the Cove Cafe to meet with some friends before dinner…
I would be remiss not to mention that EVERYTHING in the cafe is INCLUDED with your cruise fare, except some specialty coffees and teas.
That night, after a quick Farewell Reception inside Crown & Finn, we headed to dinner inside Animator’s Palate- which we were all looking forward to! Tonight, we became Animators!
Now, we had always compared Animator’s Palate to a character meal- you really aren’t there for the food- but moreso the show. I have to say, we were pleasantly surprised by our food tonight- it was outstanding!
Tomato Spaghetti and Meatball Soup:
Appetizer Sampler Platter with Shrimp, Duck, and Salmon:
As great as the food is, the star is their walls….
From one amazing show to another- after dinner we headed straight to the Walt Disney Theater to see the brand new Frozen show!
This is an INCREDIBLE show…. I cannot stress that enough!
After the show, we went back to the Cadillac Lounge and had a drink, then did some shopping, and caught a few minutes on “Ant Man” on Funnel Vision on the pool deck. Before we knew it it was time to head back to our stateroom for the night…
