Some travel destinations offer guests the opportunity to book a future trip at a great price while they are still enjoying their current vacation. I recently wrote about Sandals Resorts and special rates offered to visitors who book a future getaway prior to returning home. Walt Disney World also offers onsite resort guests a “bounce back offer”, a discounted vacation offer to return to Disney World at a price not typically offered to the general public.
The bounce back offer can be found in a booklet located in the middle of the “Be Our Guest Guide” included as part of the resorts welcome packet. If your packet does not include one of these offers, ask a cast member at the front desk if a bounce back offer is available, or call 407-939-1923 prior to your departure. This is important, as these offers are only good until 10pm on the day you check out of your hotel!
Our family recently stayed at the Animal Kingdom Lodge and received an offer to save 35% off Disney Deluxe Resorts and Deluxe Villas, and 30% off Disney Moderate resorts for numerous dates in 2015 (the discount was not offered for dates in June). The Disney rep indicated that some visitors may be offered Free Dining for late August to early October instead. You may also be able to book additional rooms for family members who want to join you on your next visit. A deposit will be required at booking: $200 for packages that include theme park tickets or a dining plan; the first night’s room rate for room only reservations. You can always modify the dates or resort you want to stay at after you return back home. And your deposit is refundable when cancelling a package at least 45 days prior to arrival, or 5 days prior to a room only reservation.
