I was thrilled to be able to spend our Celebrity Edge Preview Cruise inside stateroom 10270- an Infinite Veranda Stateroom in the Aqua Class/Concierge. Now, as I mentioned in previous posts, in Aqua Class you have complimentary access to The Sea Thermal Suite, along with a dedicated Spa Concierge who’ll be happy to make reservations for you—or create a whole spa regimen for you to follow during your cruise. Our room also had spa-inspired stateroom touches, including: the Bossini shower panel, an aromatherapy diffuser, pillow menus, daily deliveries of flavored tea and fresh fruit upon request, and the exclusive eXhale Bedding featuring the Cashmere mattress.
When we arrived at Terminal 25 at Port Everglades- we were stunned. This brand new terminal is GORGEOUS. We arrived after 11am, but before 11:30am- we had priority check in as an Aqua Class guest and were ushered right on board.
What is fabulous with Celebrity- you can head straight to your room and drop your carry on bag right to your room before heading to lunch. This was super handy for us, we were able to meet our room steward who was working on our room and hinted as to where we might want to head for lunch.
Now, the room was PERFECT for two people. TONS of storage (under the bed, there was a stool that opened as well plus what you can see in the above video), more than enough room and even more storage in the bathroom (whose mirror was heated as well- another Aqua Class Exclusive). We had a chaise lounger in addition to a desk, dresser and 2 chairs on our “balcony” with an additional side table there as well. Our impression of the infinite verandah? It felt like a beautiful ocean view room- whose window opened. The doors that you could close, were only utilized to take these pictures:
The room did function very well though- there was a desk that could be tucked into the dresser to expose a full length mirror:
There is even a clever charging station on top of the dresser:
Our bathroom was exquisite. The Bossini shower panel, had several settings inside a very roomy shower space with glass doors. The sink was massive with tons of storage underneath, including a drawer. And did I mention the mirror was heated?
We did have fresh tea delivered everyday to the room as well as canapes:
We didn’t get a chance to dine inside Blu, the exclusive restaurant for Aqua Class guests, but we did get a taste of it- more of that in another post. We also didn’t use the diffuser or ordered off the pillow menu- our bed was extremely comfortable and we were fine with what was presented to us.
All said and done, I would recommend staying Aqua Class for those guests looking for something special who would utilize The Sea Thermal Suite and would indulge in spa treatments. All of the staterooms onboard are nearly identical, with the exception of suites and those that sleep more than 2 guests (those have a sleeper sofa vs the chaise we had and are a tad wider). It’s the amenities and the bathrooms that change- as a typical bathroom does not have the shower panel Aqua Class does- they have a traditional, wanded shower head and non-heated mirror.
We were able to tour several different staterooms during our cruise- from suites to staterooms for single passengers. There is a wide variety of options for everyone onboard Celebrity Edge!
