DisneyMania- An Afternoon in the Magic Kingdom

The day you are leaving is NEVER fun, so we decided to try. We agreed to spend a few hours inside the Magic Kingdom before heading home. We had a very late flight, 9:30pm departure, and decided to take a car back to the airport vs Magical Express. We are all TSA pre-checked and can zoom through security, so we figured we could stay a bit longer and enjoy the magic a bit more.

As we entered through the gates we watched a street performer- which was super neat..

We decided to be nostalgic and headed to The Country Bears Jamboree, after we had checked the app and saw a saw was about to start 😉 Jacqueline LOVED this attraction during her first trip, Mike and I were convinced the bears at some point knew our names because we would ride it several times daily during our first trip with her in 2001.

From there it was time for our first Fast Pass at Big Thunder Mountain then we headed to It’s A Small World- one of MY favorites. 😉

Our next Fast Pass was for Space Mountain and some awesome ride pictures…

Then we stopped for a snack…

Then it was time another family favorite, the Carousel of Progress. We even noticed our cuckoo clock on their wall too!

Our last Fast Pass was for the Seven Dwarfs’ Mine Train before walking through the castle and back to the Grand Floridian for dinner.

We took the boat back to the Grand and headed towards Gasparilla’s, which is just so good. The restaurant is spotless and serves a great variety- I have a flatbread, Mike had a sandwich, Jacqueline had a burger, Katie had sushi, and Mikey had chicken fingers.

Before we knew it, it was time to go, until we return in November as a family to enjoy at Grand once more!
