Bittersweet. Our last morning waking up in Aulani. It was going to be a quiet one. Mike’s parents left very early to catch a flight to another island to spend a few days there with his sister’s family. We had secured a later check out at noon, since out flight wasn’t until 9pm that night. We decided to have a big breakfast in our room, trying to use up the food I had bought at Costco when we arrived. I cooked, I didn’t do anything different- but everything just tasted better at Aulani. Even bacon & scrambled eggs!
It was a beautiful day today- after breakfast we strolled down to a meet and greet with Goofy.
On our way to the beach, we stopped to admire Stitch!
We spent the next few hours, as usual, on the beach and in the pools and having lunch and Dole Whips poolside. Soaking up the last few hours of sun in Hawaii.
Before heading for the showers, Mikey wanted to take surf lessons with Chip and Dale!
Can you spot Mikey in the group shot?
Aulani Resort Guests with early or late flights may enjoy access to Luana Lounge, which features restrooms, showers, lockers, dressing rooms, computers and a television. Bell services will also hold your bags for you so you don’t have to worry about them during your last day. You do have to let the staff know ahead of time before accessing the Luana Lounge because it is key card protected.
Then it was off to the airport after we were all showered. We truly loved every minute of our Hawaiian vacation. we used a lot of what Aulani offers and yet there are still some things we didn’t get to do and are hoping to do on a return dream trip some day. Everything was just so relaxed all week long. No schedules, no need to do anything but a want to try it all. It was a fabulous trip and all of us cannot recommend it enough if you ever get the chance to visit Hawaii!
