Ahhh snacking. Everyone loves to do it whether you are at home or on vacation. On a Walt Disney World vacation, if you are using a dining plan- you are actually encouraged with at least one snack credit per night of your package! In Disneyland- churros are a formal right of passage. In Aulani it is all about the Shave Ice. Disney Cruise Line- all you can eat soft serve ice cream is always a favorite! Dole Whips and Citrus Swirls are in a entirely different category as well….
What are some of our favorites?
A Giant Mickey Pretzel, of course! With or without the cheese to dip it in or stuffed with cream cheese. Any variation will do!
Croissant doughnuts from Epcot have become very popular recently…
A Mickey ice cream bar is a must have on every Disney destination vacation!
And the popcorn is just… well, I have been known to make a meal out of a box or two… and their holders are now becoming a great souvenir item!
Disney’s specialty cupcakes are also pretty magical!
And don’t get started on my unhealthy love of the classic chocolate and caramel covered apples!
One of our favorite snack spots in Magic Kingdom will be found in New Fantasyland, INSIDE Big Top Souvenirs, at Big Top Treats!
Here you will find some of the most delicious chocolate dipped fruit and marshmallows, caramel corn, cotton candy, cookies, cake pops, and so much more. I HIGHLY recommend stopping by for a sweet treat!
That said, one of my favorite things to do in Epcot, is snack around the world.
I usually start with La Cantina de San Angel’s fresh-made Gucamole with Tortilla Chips with a margarita. Prefer Mexican sweets? Their Churros with Caramel Sauce is amazing!
If you don’t have time to go all around the world, anything from Germany’s Karamell-Küche or France’s Boulangerie Patisserie is incredible!
Feel free to wash it all down with a Grey Goose Citron Lemon Slush and the Grand Marnier Orange Slush in France too!
At Aulani, while it is usually about the Shave Ice…
we were thrilled to find Dole Whip!
And… it is self serve too!
