It’s April, and you know what that means? April showers! In 2013, we gave you some advice on how to brave through the raindrops during your Walt Disney World vacation.
During my most recent trip to the ‘World, we dodged a few raindrops and we didn’t let it affect our trip at all. We grabbed our ponchos and trudged on!
How can you avoid disappointment in Disney when it rains?
For some people, it depends on the season and they don’t mind rain in warm weather, so since you are wet anyway, if still open (no thunder/lightening in area), then it’s time to hit Splash Mountain or Kali River Rapids!
If you are headed to a park on a rainy day, don’t fret- all of the parks can be great in the rain. Crowds are better all around. That said, Epcot might be your best choice. Epcot has a multitude of buildings with attractions, restaurants, and shopping. We could spend all day in Innovations!
Some guests choose to ride the monorail and see all of the deluxe hotels on the loop visiting their lobbies and gift shops.
You can also head to Disney Springs and catch a movie in their Dine In Theater or you can also spend your day bowling and munching in Splitsville.
Our best suggestion is not let it get you down at all- the worst, rainiest day in Walt DIsney World is still better than any day at home!
