The Epcot® International Food and Wine Festival is just around the corner, September 27 – November 11, 2013. Guests will be able to sample offerings from more than 25 World Showcase Marketplaces. This year, the samples will include 40 adventurous new dishes and more than 80 new beverages. So, even if you’ve been before, this would be a great year to revisit the Festival.
Just close your eyes and imagine the tastes of braised short ribs in Cabernet with mashed potatoes. Want to live on the wild side, how about tasting kimchi hot dog with spicy mustard sauce in the South Korea Marketplace or vegetarian haggis at the new Scotland Marketplace. And, for all of you Dole Whip fans … the favorite drink returns with a new twist – orange, instead of pineapple, with a splash of crème de cacao white.
If you want more than a taste, for an additional fee you can sign up for premium events. Everything from the over-the-top Party for the Senses grand tasting experience to a new Parisian breakfast and/or a Hibachi dinner in Japan. As is always the case, festival dining experiences, as well as culinary beverage programs, require Park admission fees. Reservations at these premium events can be made starting on August 13, 2013.
