Every Dream Is A Fantasy, Day 6

Ok, by now we were used to the chairs moving around 5am, but I was grateful not to hear the engines roaring early because today is a sea day!

After snoozing a bit longer than usual, we headed to breakfast and then split up a bit. Mike and Mikey headed off in one direction and the girls, Nana, and I headed to the Princess Gathering (a ticketed event I signed up for the day we arrived on board). Parents of princesses celebrate! This is a fabulous event- as I remember having to stand on crazy lines when my girls were younger to meet the princesses, now the wait on Disney Cruise Line is quite minimal.

Next it was time to meet Anna and Elsa- here they are hidden inside Animator’s Palate, which is transformed into Arendelle for this special meet and greet.

Then we all split up again- the kids to the Aqua Duck and Tricia and I went to Hypnosis Seminar with Ricky Kalmon. From there went all had lunch, watched the Diaper Dash in the Lobby Atrium, made a few family crafts in La Piazza, and then watched Michael Holly’s Family Variety show. Then we headed back to our stateroom for some snacks…

A group of us went to Bingo while some of us decided to just sit back and relax on our balconies. Earlier in the day Mikey, Mike, and I had attempted the pools- but after an hour they became quite crowded and not as relaxing as we had hoped.

Before we knew it it was time to get ready for dinner. Mike and I had a reservation inside Palo and headed up to Meridian early for a pre-dinner cocktail.

Palo is just one of our favorites. Pamela was our server again, and we were able to ask for a lobster tail with our dinner as they were serving it tonight in the main dining rooms as it was semi-formal night.

We hurried down to the theater to meet our family for tonight’s show, “Believe”. After the show, we had another, very special meet & greet!

After the show Dorothy, Matthew, and Patrick all came out to chat with us and the kids about performing on stage, what they have gone through and continue to do to be able to perform, etc. It really was a very special treat!

Afterwords, the kids had some fun taking pictures- here are just a few…

After the last pictures were taken, the older kids hit the pools and Mikey and Nana went back to our staterooms for a movie and bedtime. The rest of the adults watched Ricky Kalmon’s adult Hypnosis show in the Walt Disney Theater before heading to bed ourselves.
