Another early morning, but at this point- we are getting used to it. I wandered out to our balconies as we were docking and my breath was taken away…
Jamaica is stunning. Much different than any other port we have docked in thus far. The mountains are gorgeous, the water a perfect shade of blue.
We made our way to Cabanas for breakfast as usual and then we were meeting Tricia and Juanita’s families to disembark together and head to Margarittaville for the day. We were so excited for this- pools plus great food and drink specials- a great way to spend the day, cost effectively, while in port in Falmouth.
We made it back on the ship after an amazing day in the sun with great friends for our kids’ appointment at the Pirates League because tonight is Pirate Night! This is the second time we have done this now on the Fantasy and it is such fun and a pretty good value at $35 per person.
After the kids were done, we were ready to have pictures taken with Pirate Goofy and Pirate Mickey and we were off to dinner in Enchanted Garden.
Again, I don’t love this menu- and they changed the kids’ menu from the last time we sailed as well. Mikey used to look forward to the mozzarella sticks on Pirate Night, but they are now gone.
After dinner, we headed to deck 11 for Mikey’s Pirates In the Caribbean Party- which is so much fun for the kids.
Next we met everyone in the theater for Rickey Kalmon- a comedy and hypnosis show. It was MIND BLOWING! If you get the chance to ever see him, we loved his show. Sure, there will always be skeptics- but if nothing else, it is really entertaining. After the show- some of the kids waited to take a picture with him…
After strolling around the ship a bit, we all took position around deck 12, in front of the Aqua Duck entrance to watch The Buccaneer Blast.
After the fireworks we headed to Cabanas for their amazing Pirate Night Buffet- which even if you aren’t hungry- you should check out for the displays of food alone! They are spectacular!
What an incredible day!
