Disembarkation Day. Never anyone’s favorite day, especially on a Disney Cruise Line.
We all woke up and Mike and I still had a bit to pack up before we could go. The girls decided to head down to our breakfast seating with Tricia and her family. Mom, Mikey, Mike, and I headed up to Cabanas for breakfast once we were done and the girls met us there. Mom and the girls went over to Shutters to pick up our photo discs and then we all meet Tricia and Juanita’s families in the Lobby Atrium for some last goodbyes.
After retrieving our luggage and heading out, we met Tony our driver and headed back to the airport with Tricia and her family. Very Bittersweet… we were ready to go home, but we certainly had an amazing cruise with our family.
My biggest tip for Disney Cruise Line fans is to REBOOK ON BOARD. Now you can place a $200 deposit and request a “placeholder date” for a cruise you must take within 2 years. This holds your deposit onboard booking bonus which includes a 10% discount on your future cruise and an onboard credit up to $200 per stateroom ( 3-6 Nights: $100 per Stateroom, 7+ Nights: $200 per Stateroom) PLUS if you book with a participating travel agency (like Castle Dreams Travel ) you will also receive an additional onboard credit compliments of the travel agency.
