Today started with brunch at Palo for my husband, oldest daughter, and I while Katie and Mikey headed back on the hunt for new clues on the Midship Detective Agency.Brunch at Palo has such a sweeter meaning for Mike and I now that Jacqueline joins us. It almost feels like a right of passage for our kids as Katie is already plotting when she will be able to join us next. The three of us have our favorite entrees and LOVE the buffet option as well during brunch.
Our favorite entrees- Chicken Parm and Lasagna:
This is an incredible Chocolate Lava dessert that is far too rich and delicious to even begin to describe!
After brunch, we changed and met on deck 12 and settled in by the Funnel Vision where we lounged, watched movies, rode the Aqua Duck, and dipped in and out of the pool all afternoon.
Something new for us, we had Mickey Snow Cones! These are HUGE and delicious- even though we had to pay a bit for them.
As the sun began to set, we headed back to our staterooms, well rested, to shower and get ready for dinner…. this second seating time really helped put us in the vacation zone. We consciously chose to skip the shows at 6pm because we have seen them multiple times and were really enjoying our time just relaxing.
We did decide to head to the Silent Disco at 7:30pm- SO MUCH FUN!!! We cannot recommend this ENOUGH! Tonight, it was held from 7:30- 8pm in The Tube. Very family friendly with 3 channels to choose from on your head phones and we had 80s, Disney, and oldies. All 5 of us really enjoyed ourselves!
Dinner tonight was in Royal Court- we were now tanned, super relaxed and a little winded from all that dancing! We all enjoyed the breaded and Deep Fried Brie, even super picky eater Mikey!
We then moved on to the French Onion Soup:
We all ordered the Chateaubriand-Roasted Filet Steak- which was AMAZING!
Mike mentioned to Adi he wasn’t sure which entrée he wanted – the Chateaubriand-Roasted Filet Steak or the Roasted Rack of Lamb.. so he brought Mike both! They were both so delicious- he actually finished it all!
For those of us who could fit it, dessert was Tahitian Vanilla Crème Brulee, which was absolutely perfect!
After dinner, we needed to stroll. After so much amazing food… and the ship at night is just gorgeous…
After a very long walk around the ship, we headed back to our staterooms to settled in for the night…
