How to keep a Kosher diet while visiting Walt Disney World

This week millions of people are celebrating Passover, and thousands of them are celebrating with their families in Walt Disney World.

Where can someone, who needs to keep a kosher diet, dine in Walt Disney World not just during Passover but all year long? Not surprisingly, it is not too hard during your stay in Walt Disney World!

Most table service restaurants will be able to accommodate and long as you give them notice (same as any type of dietary need- allergy, etc).

As far as counter service places, in the Animal Kingdom theme park- check out Pizzafari. In Hollywood Studios, the ABC Commissary can accommodate kosher diets needs without advance notice as well. In Epcot- the Liberty Inn in the American Pavilion in World Showcase and Electric Umbrella in Future World can provide kosher meals. In the Magic Kingdom, head to Cosmic Rays. Inside Walt Disney World Resort Hotels, you can find kosher options at all 3 of the All Star Resorts, Pop Century Resort, both Port Orleans Resorts, Animal Kingdom Lodge, Wilderness Lodge, and The Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. Each of these restaurants can provide you with a kosher menu at their counters and you can expect a variety of entrees and desserts. They are all Glatt Kosher meals and will be served to you sealed in plastic. The entrees will include a vegetable and a starch (rice, potato, etc) and 2 dinner rolls.

Some snack carts can also accommodate kosher diets, and will have a kosher menu for you to look at as well. Did you know the Premium Ice Cream Mickey bars are kosher?

You can also pack food to take with you to eat inside the parks and you can also prepare meals in your resort room if you have a kitchenette or full kitchen depending on your resort room.
