Late summer, early fall in Southern California can bring some steamy temperatures. If you prefer to stay in the parks all day here are a couple places you can take a break in the middle of the action.
The Tiki Room in Disneyland® is a great spot to grab a Dole Whip and sit a spell. The show is entertaining and allows you to sit in air conditioning for a spell. It is great for kids and adults.
If lines are long, Pirates of the Caribbean provides a cool place to stand in line for a bit as well as a slow moving boat ride through an air conditioned area. You will enjoy the story as well as get off your feet for a few minutes.

It’s A Small World is another place where the line moves quickly to board but the vessel moves slowly allowing you to enjoy the air conditioning. If you are not a fan of the song “It’s a Small World®” then this might not be the perfect place for you to get out of the heat.
Looking for a much longer place to get off your feet and out of the heat? Then visit California Adventure’s “Disney’s Aladdin – A Musical Spectacular.” It is a Broadway type show and lasts about 45 minutes. You will find it in the Hyperion Theatre in the California Hollywood Pictures Backlot.
