How do you celebrate Disney while at a Disney Destination?
In Disneyland Paris it’s Shrove Tuesday- Pancake Tuesday- where they are celebrating with parades…
In Walt Disney World Resort, the only celebration is at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort. A mini-parade of floats on golf carts. In true New Orleas style, they throw traditional Mardi Gras gifts (bead and candy) to the guests watching along the parade route. Last year the parade began at 1:30 in the afternoon and it has become a Disney guest favorite event- for those who know about it! 😉 Princess Tiana and Prince Naveen even start off the parade in a horse drawn carriage!
The biggest celebartion has been ongoing at the Disneyland Resort with the return of the Bayou Bash! Disney Parks says, “Enjoy jazz music, lively street performances and delectable Cajun cuisine in New Orleans Square at Disneyland Park.”
Happy Mardi Gras everyone!
I love water-light shows!!! Almost as much as I love fireworks! Whenever I go to Disney, I aylwas make sure to stay for the midnight fireworks best part ever.xoxox
