MSC vs DCL

MSC vs DCL vacation? It really isn’t comparing the same products, honestly.

MSC is an Italian owned cruise line just now breaking into the North American market with the Divina’s home port in Miami and another ship being delivered within the next 2 years. These 2 ships will have the creature comforts American cruisers are accustomed to, whereas their European fleet most certainly will not, which might not be a bad thing.

MSC has the traditional casino you will find on every other cruise line except on DCL, they have a number of dining options- but only a limited number are included in your fare. DCL all are included (even room service) expect the adult  only options.  However, MSC is the fast growing cruise line hosting more than 11 million passengers. They have 12 state of the art ships cruising now and they are adding 4 more ships in the next 4 years!

MSC also have a tiered reservation levels to know about when you are choosing to cruise with them:

You can opt to book the Bella level, which is their lowest price with a la carte ameneties (these rooms include interior, ocean view, and balcony rooms).

You also get “My Choice Dining” (dinner anytime on the Black Crab during dining room hours), a 60 minute massage, steam room & sauna access (adults only), priority boarding, and adults get access to the exclusive Top 18 Sundeck.
