Today Disney Theme Park fans woke up to tickets changes to both of their beloved theme park locations in the US.
Walt Disney World® Resort implemented adjustments to ticket offerings this morning. This year, they introduced a $20 savings on a 3-Day or longer Magic your Way® Ticket when purchased through your travel agent, on Disneyworld.com, or through their call center as compared to the price for the same ticket at the theme park ticket windows, Guest Relations and Sports Welcome Center.
Other changes to ticket offerings will include the following:
- All newly-purchased tickets will expire on a specified date. Never-used expired tickets may be exchanged by consumers for credit toward new ticket purchase of equal or greater value. Previously-purchased tickets without expiration dates will remain valid until used. Tickets will expire 14 days after 1st use or Unused Tickets by Dec 31, 2018. If unused by this date, the guest can exchange for a new ticket, but must pay any pricing difference.
- The Water Park Fun & More and Park Hopper bundled add-on will now be known as Park Hopper and Park Hopper Plus Options. The Water Park Fun & More will be discontinued as a standalone option.
As far as pricing, for a 1 day tickets to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Epcot pricing starts in Value Season from $99, Regular Season at $107, and Peak Season from $119. If you want to visit the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World for one day, it will cost more (again depending on the season) anywhere from $155-$125. Keep in mind, this price is for one park (Ages 10+) and one day. The ticket must be used by December 31, 2018; price paid for unused ticket can be applied to a new ticket, subject to restrictions. Non-refundable.
Castle Dreams Travel has noticed vacation packages that include theme park tickets have not reflected this change yet- and TODAY is the last day to take advantage a promotion where you can enjoy one quick meal per person, per night at select Walt Disney World® Resort quick-service dining locations when you buy a non-discounted 5-night/6-day Walt Disney Travel Company room and ticket package at a select Disney Value Resort hotel for arrivals most nights May 30-Aug. 24, 2017 when you book TODAY.
In Disneyland Resort, tickets increased slightly as well. Value Season one day tickets price from $97.00, Regular Season from $110.00, and Peak Season from $124.00. Again, please keep in mind this pricing is for one park (Ages 10+), one day tickets. The tickets must be used by December 31, 2018; price paid for unused ticket can be applied to a new ticket, subject to restrictions. Non-refundable.
