The last day of any Disney vacation is never fun- but we try to take the sting out of leaving when we can. After our bags were dropped off with Bell Services we walked over to the World Showcase entrance to Epcot and took a quick family picture before heading over to our favorite World Showcase restaurant, Via Napoli. Today was just the 5 of us- which is time Mike and I know we need to treasure as we are fully aware we won’t get these opportunities for much longer.
We didn’t use a table service credit at Rose and Crown, so we were usong it today and decided to forgo appetizers (they aren’t included, dessert is), so we devoured the bread and oil- it was so good!
The kids really enjoyed their frozen fruit smoothies and Mike and I enjoyed a glass of wine with lunch as well.
Mikey ordered his favorite Margherita pizza for lunch:
Katie ordered Spinach Ravioli, which was the perfect portion & she said it was delicious (she wouldn’t share, LOL!):
Jacqueline & I both ordered the Chicken Parm, it was OUTSTANDING:
Mike ordered lasagna, which he absolutely loved as well:
Now it was time for dessert!
Mikey ordered a HUGE cannoli:
Mike ordered the Tiramisu:
Katie ordered gelato:
Jacqueline ordered Torte Caprese, a Neopolitan chocolate-hazelnut and almond cake :
I ordered the Zeppoles which are ricotta cheese fritters served with whipped cream and chocolate sauce- OMGoodness, they are DELICIOUS!
After lunch, we headed to Germany…
We decided to play Agent P’s Wolrd SHowcase Adventure- and if you haven’t yet, we absolutely recommend it! So many hidden details and a great time to bond as well.
After we played we strolled over to Test Track for our Fast Pass…
Afterward, we checked out the Toy Story 4 garden and play area:
By now, we needed to head out of Epcot and back to the Yacht Club for our transfers back to the Orlando International Airport. That said, the kid wanted to stop for one last Violet Lemonade:
It truly is a quick walk back to either the Yacht or Beach Club Resorts and both are a fantastic option if you are primarily spending your time in Epcot. We won’t hesitate to stay here again when we come for the Flower and Garden Festival or the Food and Wine Festival in the Fall. Did I mention how hot Orlando was during our stay? RECORD heat- the ice water that was left out for guests at the Yacht Club was very much so appreciated not only because it’s cute- but soooooo refreshing!
Now, it is time to firm up our summer vacation plans…
