Taking the Time to Smell the Flowers, A Trip Report- The Perfect Ending with Friends

After dinner, we met the Belfontis on Hollywood Boulevard to do some shopping before splitting up, yet again.

The girls all headed back to the Magic Kingdom to watch Happily Ever After one last time, Mike and Mikey headed to Toy Story Land to ride Slinky Dog and check it out at night (Mikey LOVES it there!), while the rest of us headed back to the Yacht Club to wait for everyone.

We decided Ale & Compass was a great place to wait!

Once everyone let us know they were on their way to meet us, we headed to Beaches and Cream to end the night there. Ice Cream cones, sundaes, & milkshakes at nearly 11 pm, why not? If you can’t get a reservation and you truly only want dessert, they offer a To-Go option which is great and has plenty of outdoor seating as well.

We did try the seasonal shake, the Dreamsicle, that came in a plastic mason jar we could take home. To me- it tasted like a really cold and thick Fruity Pebbles creamy milk- which was far better than whatever they tried to do yesterday inside the Orange Bird at Citrus Blossom. 😉

It was after midnight when we all said goodbye and headed back to our resorts for the night. This was such a fun trip and we are hoping to make it an annual trip with these families.

Our family still had big plans for Monday- lunch in one of our absolute favorite places!
