I recently was invited to tour the Caribe Royale in Orlando.
To give you an idea where this resort is located (you can click on the pictures to enlarge them):
The Caribe Royale is a massive property:
We started the tour inside The Villas of Caribe Royale:
This 2 bedroom unit measures 1,260 square feet with a king and whirlpool tub in the master bedroom and 2 queen sized beds in the second bedroom. The living room also has a sleeper sofa. You will also find a full sized kitchen and a washer and dryer.
Java’s Coffee Cafe is located in Tower II and only operates under seasonal hours.
Outside you will find a large heated pool with a slide and waterfalls open from 8am-11pm.
The newly renovated Double Queen suites are their standard rooms that measure 446 square feet with 2 Queen sized beds and a sleeper sofa.
The main building’s lobby is quite spacious:
Overall, it is beautiful resort that traditionally caters to the business or convention traveler. The resort was clean and the Double Queen Suites are beautiful while I felt the villas are in need of some updates. The resort has 7 restaurants and lounges plus 24 hour room service. There is also a fitness center and a spa onsite.
The Caribe is a WDW Good Neighbor Hotel and they do provide free shuttle buses to Walt Disney World theme parks, Disney Springs, the Lake Buena Vista Factory Stores, and the Orlando Vineland Premium outlet. The shuttles to Walt Disney World and Orlando Vineland Premium Outlet are available by reservation only. There is only 1 free shuttle departure to the Lake Buena Vista Factory Stores- there are several shuttles that return to the hotel at various times in the afternoon.
