Tour of the Disney Magic, part three- Palo

On  Deck 10 Aft you will find the adults only, $20 per person up charge Palo restaurant a highlight to any adult’s Disney Cruise Line vacation.

Palo is a 130-seat restaurant that serves Northern Italian food for brunch, high tea (which will end this summer), and dinner. The 270-degree panoramic ocean views from your table sets the mood in this incredibly romantic restaurant with Venetian masks scattered in the entryway.

Along with a grand piano…Reservations are required at Palo and can be made online before your cruise departs or upon boarding the ship. When dining at Palo, Guests will skip the regularly scheduled Main Dining restaurant for dinner.

There is a dress code here- dress pants and shirt or jacket is required for men and a dress or pantsuit is required for women ( no jeans, shorts, capri pants, flip-flops or tennis shoes).

Palo’s dinner menu  may include:

Appetizers/Soups & Salads/Pizza: Sicilian Pesto Marinated Shrimp Salad, Grilled Portobello Mushroom, and Polenta with a Roasted Shallot Sauce,  Quattro Formaggi Pizza, Pizza Ai Gamberi

Main Courses: Lobster and Mascarpone Ravioli Risotto di Mare, Pumpkin and Broccoli with Shrimp and Grappa Sauce, Penne Arrabbiata Chicken Braciola, Garlic Roasted Rack of Lamb, Beef Tenderloin “Palo” Served with Palo Signature Barola Red Wine Sauce or Gorgonzola Sauce

Dessert… well… you need to order the amazing chocolate souffle as soon as you are seated so it is ready by dessert. It is served with vanilla bean and chocolate sauces and is worth the $20 up charge alone! There are other desserts that are beautifully presented, but this one is the one you must order- and you can order more than one dessert too. But if you only order just one, be sure this IS the one!
