One of my favorites off site, Walt Disney World Good Neighbor Hotels I have visited is The Waldorf Astoria Orlando. It is just stunning from the moment you arrive…
The lobby is simple, yet elegant:
A typical 2 Queen Bed Guest Rooms are filled with simple luxury:
I also as able to tour their One Bedroom Suite with a King Bed that measures 954 square feet:
Even the hallways are elegant!
Their signature restaurant Bull and Bear, is masculine yet inviting:
Oscar’s is the spot for a delicious, daily breakfast buffet:
The Waldorf has 2 pools that also offer cabanas and a poolside bar & grille. The resort also has a Putting Green, Pro Shop, and an 18 hole Par 72 Golf Course designed by Rees Jones.
I have to say, the Waldorf is also quite cost effective as compared to deluxe resorts on Walt Disney World property. The 2 Queen guest room prices average around $380 per night. The King Suite I have pictured, averages $450 per night. The Waldorf also offers complimentary transportation to Walt Disney World theme parks and Disney Springs.
This resort was beautiful combination of welcoming, friendly, quiet, and elegant. A great retreat from a long day the theme parks. This is a great option for those looking to stay nearby, but not quite onsite who are looking for a luxury retreat style vacation with all of the luxury amenities at their fingertips.
