As we have told you before the Wilderness Lodge has multiple resort refurbishment projects ongoing through 2017. Guests will notice construction work in various areas. Noise may be overheard while this work is being completed, but construction will not begin until after 9 a.m. Certain pathways, including the nature trail, will be unavailable. The Hidden Springs leisure pool area (the leisure pool at The Villas at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge), resort beach, playground, Marina and Recreation fire pit will be unavailable.

We found out that they are taking the whole right side of the main building is going to be converted to Disney Vacation Club rooms and they are going to be building bungalow type buildings similar to the ones at the Polynesian Village Resort outside the DVC building.
This past weekend, guests reported not being able to hear or see very much of the construction and, as you can see in the pictures, they have it very well covered . The main building and DVC building are as beautiful as it always is as well as the main pool.
